Women’s Super League: Wins for Leeds Rhinos and Featherstone Rovers

Leeds Rhinos earned back-to-back wins in Women’s Super League as they beat York Valkyrie, while Featherstone Rovers earned their first league victory of 2026, seeing off Barrow Raiders.

Kaiya Glynn, Nicole Kennedy and Ebony Stead gave Leeds a 14-6 lead over York at the break, with Tamzin Renouf hitting back for the Valkyrie.

Connie Boyd and Grace Short went in either side of Sade Rihari’s response from York, but Keara Bennett put the gloss on as the Rhinos steered out a 30-10 win at Headingley.

Meanwhile, Featherstone edged out Barrow to earn two points in an entertaining fixture which they won16-10 after a tense first half.

Emma Hutchinson sent Barrow ahead but Brogan Churm hit back as Featherstone levelled at 6-6 by half-time.

Dani Waters converted her own try to send Fev ahead in the second half and Barrow responded through Chloe Capstick, but they missed the conversion that followed and Ash Prescott scored the decisive try for Rovers.
