Leeds Rhinos coach Brad Arthur signs two-year extension

Brad Arthur has signed a two-year contract extension at Leeds Rhinos.

The Headingley side remained top of Super League with a hard-fought win over St Helens on Thursday night, and the club announced the new deal for the Australian head coach the following day.

Arthur joined the Rhinos towards the end of the 2024 season, when they finished eighth, but last season took them into the end-of-season play-offs by finishing fourth and were only denied a place in the Grand Final by a St Helens try after the final siren.

That improvement has continued apace in the current campaign, with Leeds winning 10 of their first 13 matches.

Former Parramatta Eels coach Arthur said: “We have put a process in place to bring through the best young talent, and I am looking forward to seeing that flourish in the years ahead.

“We have a fantastic coaching, conditioning and medical staff, who are all committed to the club for the future.”
