The conditions were similarly challenging for music fans at the Eden Festival after downpours made underfoot conditions very boggy.
However, festival-goers insisted it did not spoil their enjoyment.
Ian and Emma Grant, from Inch, were among those attending.
“Eden has always got a really lovely vibe,” said Emma.
