Bodycam footage shows the moment police arrested a “savage and merciless” killer who bludgeoned a woman to death in her own home.
Matthew Battenbough, 34, murdered 47-year-old Leanne Williams in Townhill, Swansea, in February after being released from prison on licence.
Swansea Crown Court heard Ms Williams was attacked with a frying pan, scissors and a knife.
Battenbough gave no explanation as to why he killed Ms Williams, but pleaded guilty to murder. The judge ordered him to serve at least 20 years and 10 months before he can be considered for release.
