Trump Mobile promoted a phone – but the details kept changing

When Trump Mobile was launched by US President Donald Trump’s eldest sons in the summer of 2025, the company advertised that a “T1” smartphone would be built in the US and shipped to customers within months.

Over the last year, key details about the phone’s manufacture, design and delivery date have changed, and some customers are still waiting for their phones – as Thomas Copeland explains.
