Public advised to avoid the town centre over ongoing incident

Members of the public have been advised to avoid the centre of a County Down town as the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) deal with an ongoing incident.

A police cordon is in place on High Street in Bangor.

The PSNI said it would issue an update in due course.
