Daeth y syniad gan ei fodryb, Peca Jones, sy’n perthyn i rai o’r Cymry cyntaf a gyrhaeddodd y wlad.
Cafodd y prosiect ei ariannu gan artistiaid Cymreig, cefnogwyr Clwb Pêl-droed Wrecsam, ac ymwelwyr blaenorol â Phatagonia.
“Fe gymrodd e ddau ddiwrnod i ni blannu’r bylbiau,” meddai David.
“Doedd gennym ni ddim peiriannau – dim ond rhaw i gloddio rhychau hir.”
Mae disgwyl i’r cennin pedr ddechrau blodeuo ym mis Hydref, gan nodi dechrau’r gwanwyn yn yr Ariannin.
