A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a house in Batley.
Courtney Angus, 21 and from Dewsbury, was found at a property in Norfolk Street on Saturday.
West Yorkshire Police said Michael Moore, 37, of Batley, had been charged with murder and would appear before Leeds magistrates later.
Mr Moore is also charged with possession of a bladed article, affray and two counts of threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place.
West Yorkshire Police said the charges related to incidents in Dewsbury on the same day.
Floral tributes have been left outside the property where Ms Angus was found.
Staff at the Fox and Hounds pub in Batley, where she previously worked, said they were “heartbroken”.
“Though she was only with us at The Fox for a short while, she left a lasting impression – sweet, kind, and always with a warm smile,” a post read.
“Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her. It’s a truly sad time for Batley and Dewsbury, and our thoughts are with all affected.
“Forever 21. Rest in peace, Courtney.”
