M4 near Bristol reopens after five-vehicle crash

All lanes have now reopened after a five-vehicle crash on the M4.

Avon and Somerset Police were called shortly before 10:35 BST after a collision on the westbound carriageway, near junction 19 for the M32, near Bristol.

The force said no serious injuries had been reported and ambulance and the fire service had also been called to the scene.

National Highways said the three lanes that had been closed were now open but motorists would still experience residual delays and should “allow extra time” for their journeys.
