In May 2011, police exhumed Baby April’s body at Bybrook Cemetery to gain a full DNA profile before she was reburied.
However, the DNA sample did not lead to a breakthrough and the case remains unsolved.
Officers said the woman visited the grave between 14:00 and 15:00 BST on Sunday 21 June.
She is described as white, in her 40s, no taller than 5ft 7in (1.7m), of medium to slim build, with a pale complexion. She had shoulder-length grey hair and was wearing a grey short cardigan, black leggings and trainers.
Police said she was also carrying a small shoulder bag and a floral-patterned fabric holdall, worn across her body.
