Motorists have faced delays after a crash involving a car blocked a stretch the M25.
National Highways said the motorway was closed clockwise between junction 11 for the M11 and junction 28 for Brentwood in Essex following the collision at about 11:30 GMT on Saturday.
There were also long delays on the M11 either side of its junction with the M25.
A diversion was in place, with drivers advised to plan alternative routes .
