The former Labour leader Neil Kinnock has said he thinks George Galloway is “repulsive”.
Speaking during the BBC’s live election coverage on Thursday, Mr Kinnock added: “He always has been.”
Mr Galloway, the leader of the Workers Party of Britain, lost his seat in Rochdale on Friday after winning it at a by-election four months ago.
He did not attend the count at Rochdale Leisure Centre to hear the general election result.
After his victory earlier this year, Mr Galloway said: “Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak are two cheeks of the same backside and they both got well and truly spanked.”
