Family tribute to ‘kindest gran’ after Aberdeeen crash death

They said she was in great health and “lived independently with a buzzing social life”, enjoying meals out with friends, bingo and dancing.

Ms Davidson’s granddaughter added: “My grandma is one of the sweetest, kindest and most resilient people you could ever meet.

“She was like a parent to me, and I’m forever grateful to have had her in my life.”

Police Scotland appealed for anyone with information about the incident, which happened at about 11:20, to contact them, external.

Sgt Alexander Bowser-Riley said: “Our thoughts are with Maureen’s family and friends and everyone affected by this incident.
