Ethan Ampadu: Leeds United boss Daniel Farke hopeful on injury

Ampadu was set to be named in Wales’ Nations League squad for matches against Iceland and Montenegro, with boss Craig Bellamy revealing his squad on Wednesday, 2 October, meaning Farke will join Wales boss Craig Bellamy in anxiously awaiting results of Ampadu’s scan.

“I hope it’s not too bad because we already have a few important players out and we definitely need him,” Farke added about the 24-year old,

“He’s one of my most important players if not the most important player, he’s our captain.

“He always plays in the centre of the park, he’s important for the whole vibe, the whole spirit, the whole mood.”
