Ychydig ddyddiau ers canslo sioe i ddathlu pen-blwydd Cymdeithas y Merlod a’r Cobiau Cymreig (WPCS) yn 125 oed mae’r gymdeithas wedi cyhoeddi y bydd hi’n cael ei chynnal wedi’r cwbl.
Cafodd y tro pedol ei gyhoeddi ganddyn nhw ar y cyfryngau cymdeithasol a bydd y sioe yn cael ei chynnal ar 8 a 9 Awst ar faes y Sioe Fawr yn Llanelwedd.
Y rheswm iddi gael ei chanslo oedd diffyg cystadleuwyr – roedd llai na 100 wedi cofrestru.
Bellach mae’r gymdeithas wedi dweud eu bod wedi derbyn “y lleiafswm o 350 o geisiadau ar gyfer y dosbarthiadau ‘Mewn Llaw’ (‘In Hand‘) erbyn y dyddiad cau”.
Mae’r dosbarthiadau hynny yn golygu bod ceffyl yn cael ei arwain gyda llaw yn hytrach na’i farchogaeth.
“Bydd amserlen wedi’i hadolygu yn cael ei rhannu’n fuan, ynghyd â manylion ar sut i ymuno,” medd llefarydd.
Y dyddiad cau newydd ar gyfer ceisiadau ydy 24 Gorffennaf.
Ni fydd ceisiadau hwyr yn cael eu derbyn heblaw am geisiadau ar y diwrnod ar gyfer dosbarthiadau Ceffyl y Flwyddyn (HOYS).
