Owain Clarke, Gohebydd Iechyd
Ar ddiwedd ei ddatganiad i’r Senedd mae’r gweinidog iechyd yn nodi ei fod yn rhoi un “cyfle terfynol” i fwrdd iechyd y gogledd i wella gwasanaethau.
Mae’r datganiad yn nodi rhwystredigaeth amlwg Mabon ap Gwynfor – sef er bod Bwrdd Iechyd Betsi Cadwaladr wedi treulio cyhyd (cyfanswm o dros 9 mlynedd a hynny dros ddau gyfnod) mewn mesurau arbennig nad yw hyn wedi llwyddo i fynd i’r afael â’r heriau mwyaf amlwg.
Addewid y llywodraeth felly yw y byddan nhw’n ymyrryd yn fwy uniongyrchol yng ngwaith y bwrdd yn hytrach nag ymddiried yn y bwrdd iechyd i wella pethau’n fewnol.
Yn benodol fe fydd tîm newydd o arbenigwyr yn cael eu hanfon, ac adolygiad pellach gan banel annibynnol yn edrych ar heriau ymarferol, safon gofal a chyfeiriad strategol. Fe fydd hwn yn adrodd erbyn yr hydref.
Ond mae’r mesurau yma, yn fy marn i. yn debyg i’r math o ymdrechion sydd wedi digwydd sawl gwaith yn y gorffennol.
Yr hyn y bydd cleifion a’u teuluoedd yn y gogledd am wybod yw beth fydd yn newid ar lawr gwlad.
Pa sicrwydd sydd yna y bydd penaethiaid yn atebol os na fydd ‘na welliant amlwg y tro hwn?
Beth fydd yn digwydd os yw’r ymdrechion diweddaraf yma yn methu?
Dyw hynny ddim yn amlwg iawn i fi ar hyn o bryd.
