Byrom and Gorvin lead Glamorgan to third win

The flying start meant they could afford to soak up a few quiet overs, and Byrom broke out with a pair of reverse-swept sixes.

There were no real chances offered as the pair struck 33 boundaries between them.

Glamorgan got home with 4.3 overs to spare as Ingram reached three figures off 96 balls with the winning boundary, finishing on 103 not out.

Glamorgan batter Eddie Byrom told BBC Sport Wales:

“We felt in control of the chase all the way through after a good start with Smale playing beautifully as well, then with Colin out there it’s always under control.

“I’ve been out of form and struggling for form this season, but I always knew it was round the corner because I’ve done it at this level before, and today things went my way.

“Andy Gorvin bowled really well with a career-best five-for, so credit to him and the boys up top who restricted Notts at the start. It was a really good all-round performance.”
