GoogleA 42-year-old man has been charged with assault following the death of a woman in Dundee at the weekend.
Police were called to a report of a possible disturbance at a property in Milnbank Road in the city’s west end at about 09:55 on Saturday.
Officers attended and a woman was found unresponsive, before being pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The man was arrested and charged in connection with an assault and is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court later.
Det Insp James Callander said: “Further inquiries into the death remain ongoing.
“There is no risk to the public and police will remain in the area while the investigation continues.
“We would encourage anyone with concerns to speak to these officers.”
