The footage, recorded by Edward’s home security system on the morning of 16 June, shows a woman walking with a shopping bag on the pavement outside his home, before turning up a drive and kicking the front of a parked yellow sports car.
He said he noticed the incident about 10 minutes after it happened at 08:45 BST.
“I was just shocked,” he said.
“It’s very strange, such a weird thing to do.”
The painting and decorating business owner said he “didn’t think there were people like that in the world today”.
He said the woman’s kicks caused scratches that would cost “between two or three-hundred-pounds to put right”.
Edwards added he has had to keep the car out of view by leaving it at a friend’s house while he goes on holiday.
