A 77 year-old woman has been charged over what police described as a “racially aggravated” attack.
West Mercia Police said Carol Roberts, of Guildford Close, Worcester, has been charged with four counts of assault, one count of racially/religiously aggravated common assault, and one count of harassment without violence.
It comes after a man and a child suffered minor irritation injuries after being sprayed by an unknown substance at Guilford Close at about 18:00 BST on 8 October. The force added that the charges related to incidents between 7 and 9 October.
She is due to appear at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on 28 October.
