What can they do for young people?

How can Plaid Cymru draw more young people to the party?

That is what BBC journalist Tink Llewellyn asked members at Plaid’s spring conference in Llandudno.

It was gearing up for the next Welsh Parliament elections which are due to take place in May 2026.

According to recent polling, Plaid, Reform and Labour are neck-and-neck in Wales, which if accurate could mean the most open election since the start of devolution in 1999.

“Politics needs to do better generally at making sure young people are in the centre of the room,” said Delyth Jewell MS.
