Translink: Train line from Lisburn to Belfast closed over summer

A revised NI Railways timetable will be in operation from Wednesday 3 July until early Autumn.

The line will be closed from Lisburn to Belfast Lanyon Place.

Intensive periods of engineering work are in progress to realign the track to serve the new Grand Central Station.

Translink say an express bus substitution service will operate between Lisburn and Europa Bus centre.

Passengers who normally use the stations in between Lisburn and Belfast should use Metro and Ulsterbus scheduled bus services

NI Railways tickets will work on Metro and Glider services between York Street, Lanyon Station, City Centre, Botanic and City Hospital.

The Londonderry, Bangor & Larne Line services will operate to and from Lanyon Place.

The Enterprise service will stop at Newry with bus replacement services available.

Great Victoria Street Station was permanently closed on 10 May.

A full list of replacement services can be found on the Translink website, external.
