Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are injured and will miss Tottenham’s Premier League match with Wolves, says manager Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs’ Australian boss expects Porro, 26, to be fit in a “couple of weeks” after the Spain right-back suffered a muscle strain in training.

Italy left-back Udogie, 21, has a minor knee problem.

Back-up goalkeeper Fraser Forster is also set to be on the sidelines for two months with a fractured foot.

Porro and Udogie’s absences on Saturday will mark the first time this season that Spurs have started a match in the English top flight without both of their first-choice full-backs.

The duo have proved key to Spurs’ expansive style of play under Postecoglou, with the former Celtic boss conceding that their attacking attributes will be sorely missed against Gary O’Neil’s Wolves side.

“It doesn’t change the way we play, but I think I’ve said in the past a player brings their own sort of unique ability to each position,” Postecoglou said.

“The structure won’t change and the way we set up won’t change, but different players bring different attributes.

“Pedro and Destiny have been outstanding for us this year. They’re both improving but they’re missing now and there will be an opportunity for a couple of other guys to come in and make sure we maintain the levels we’ve set so far.”

Tottenham head into Saturday’s game in fourth position in the table, one point ahead of fifth-placed Aston Villa, as they look to maintain their push for a Champions League spot.
