Stirling celebrates 900th anniversary with parade

Stirling’s 900th anniversary finale celebrations have been held, with a pipe band parade marching through the city.

It set off from Stirling Castle, crossed Old Stirling Bridge and finished at the Stirling County Rugby Club.

About 900 people took part in the parade, including 350 musicians and local community groups.

Other events to mark the occasion, have included a supper club, a free concert, an art exhibition and a ceilidh held at the Albert Halls.
