Police name woman, 29, killed in Highlands crash

A woman who died in a crash on the A9 in the Highlands has been named by police.

Emma Foster, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, near Invergordon, at about 02:00 on Wednesday.

No one else was injured in the crash, which involved a white Kia Sportage, and an investigation is ongoing.

Sgt Kate Finlayson said Ms Foster’s family were being supported by specialist officers.
