A pedestrian has died in hospital more than three weeks after he was struck by a car in Glasgow.
Police Scotland said Patrick Stoddard, 66, was seriously injured on Carmunnock Road, in the city’s south side, at about 17:00 on 4 December.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment following the incident, which involved a black Audi A1.
Mr Stoddard, of Glasgow, who turned 67 during his time in hospital, died from his injuries on Saturday.
Officers said inquiries into the full circumstances of the collision were ongoing and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Sgt Jack Swindells said: “Our sympathies are with the family and friends of Patrick Stoddard at this time, and we continue to investigate this collision.
“Members of the public who witnessed what happened, or anyone with dash-cam or doorbell-cam footage of the incident is asked to contact police immediately.”
