Seven more people have been arrested and charged over disorder during fan celebrations after Celtic’s Scottish Premiership title win in May.

Two police officers were seriously injured and three members of the public required hospital treatment when trouble broke out in the Trongate area of Glasgow.

Six males, aged 17, 18, 33, 35, 43 and 45, and a 28-year-old woman are accused of various offences, including assault, possession of an offensive weapon, culpable and reckless conduct and breach of the peace.

They will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date. It brings the number of arrests around the title party disorder to 50.

A further 13 people have been charged over various offences but not arrested.
