A man in east London has reported unusual noises coming from the Olympic velodrome after an increase in firework displays during the weekend following Bonfire Night.
The 6,000-seat venue, known for its distinctive curved roof and nicknamed the Pringle, appears to emit deep, rumbling sounds – likened by some to “farting” – as explosions echo around the structure.
Clips of the phenomenon have gone viral on social media after it was shared to TikTok by Matt McClafferty with users joking about the building’s “upset tummy”.
