Former Labour MSP Colin Smyth has appeared in court accused of possessing indecent images of children and voyeurism.
The 52-year-old made no plea during a private hearing at Dumfries Sheriff Court and was granted bail.
The South Scotland MSP was suspended by Labour and his Holyrood pass was revoked.
