Weston Hospicecare patient’s wish comes true for final bike ride

A man receiving palliative care has had his wish of one last motorbike ride granted.

Chris Hunt, 72, who is being cared for at Weston Hospicecare in Somerset, has always been a big fan of motorbikes.

Local bikers saw an appeal from the hospice and more than 300 riders railed together to make his dream come true.

Mr Hunt’s partner Di said the bike ride made Mr Hunt smile as he called it “lovely jubbly”.
