There are just two days left until Valentine’s Day and time is running out to get hold of gifts for loved ones.
The day of love traditionally calls for red roses, and many opt to treat their other halves to a bunch.
If you’ve left it to the last minute this year and don’t have time to head to the shops and join the hordes of other shoppers before February 14, you’re in luck.
Martin Lewis’ MoneySavingExpert featured one particular retailer with the cheapest deal for getting red roses delivered.
M&S is offering shoppers a bouquet of 12 red roses for £25, and there’s still time for delivery on or before Wednesday.
Buy: Valentine’s Dozen Red Rose Bouquet (£25)
There’s currently free nominated-day delivery for all flowers and plants at M&S, plus you can add a free gift message for that extra touch.
Delivery is available for both Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14, but you would need to order by 4pm on Tuesday 13 to guarantee delivery on Valentine’s Day.
Those who want to go one step further and pop some bubbly on Valentine’s Day could opt for the Dozen Red Rose Bouquet & Prosecco bundle, which includes the same flowers and a bottle of M&S prosecco.
MoneySavingExpert lists Waitrose as the second cheapet retailer, with its £30 ’12 stems of red Foundation Upper Class roses’ offering, which can also be delivered in time for Valentine’s Day, if ordered before 12pm tomorrow.
Although the team at MoneySavingExpert is always on the lookout for the best deals to save money, it’s worth noting that inevitably flowers are still far cheaper to buy in the shops than online.
For chocolate lovers, a food and drink hamper is a great idea, and Amazon has a Rosé Wine & Chocolate Hamper that’s currently reduced to £9.99.
The bundle includes two mini Three Mills Reserve Rosé Wines, Lindor Assorted Truffles, a Ferrero Rocher 4 Pack and chocolate orange biscuits, so it’s ideal for a date night in.
