Cleaning guru reveals the one bathroom item she ‘would never have’ – it’s ‘unhygienic’

While a toilet brush may seem like a standard fixture in the bathroom, as it helps clean the bowl thoroughly, it may not be an ideal tool to have. An expert from @cotswoldclean recently shared insights on why you won’t find the essential toilet brush in their bathroom.

Taking to TikTok, the cleaning guru expressed disdain for the toilet brush, labelling it as one of the many things they “hated cleaning” and “would never have”.

Whether it’s the traditional brush or the rubber version, which was also recently criticised by another expert, this professional asserted that using them is simply “unhygienic.”

Instead, they recommended relying on bleach and a sponge for cleaning, with a reminder to protect hands and skin by wearing rubber gloves.

Another echoed the sentiment, stating: “You never gonna see me putting my hands inside a toilet, even with gloves. I’ll keep my toilet brush.”
