Police have begun a manslaughter investigation after a man who was seriously hurt during an altercation outside a bar in County Armagh died in hospital.

Robert Paczkowski, 51, was injured while trying to re-enter a bar on William Street in Lurgan at about 01:00 BST on Sunday.

Police said he was “pushed back by door staff and had subsequently fallen, striking his head on the pavement”.

Two men have been interviewed by officers as part of what is now a manslaughter investigation, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.
