A man in his 30s is in critical condition in hospital following an assault on Saturday in County Londonderry.
The assault happened inside a flat on the Main Street in Strabane at about 14:00 BST.
He sustained serious injuries to his face, head and body and was taken by Air Ambulance to hospital.
A 33 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
