Man dies after Bangor road traffic collision

A 35-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision in Bangor, County Down.

The man who died was Alex Connor.

Police said it was reported at about 01:50 GMT on Saturday that there had been a road traffic collision involving a male pedestrian on the Upper Gransha Road, Bangor.

The road has now reopened. Detectives are examining the circumstances of the collision and have appealed for information.
