Man charged over ‘crossbow incident’ in Aberdeen

A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged after reports that he was seen with a crossbow in the Lang Stracht area of Aberdeen.

The incident happened at about 14:20 on Friday.

Police Scotland confirmed officers attended the scene but said there was “no wider risk to the public”.

The arrested man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
