A man and woman have died after a crash in County Antrim on Saturday evening, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) have confirmed.
The collision involving a grey Skoda and a grey Cupra happened at about 18:25 GMT on the Lurgan Road in Glenavy.
The man and woman in the Cupra were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Skoda was transferred to hospital for treatment.
The Lurgan Road remained closed on Sunday morning with a diversion in place at Pigeonstown Road.
In a separate incident on Saturday evening, emergency services were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision near Lisburn.
Five people were taken to hospital – a man, two women and two children – after the incident on Saintfield Road at the junction of Old Ballynahinch Road.
Both women and one of the children are being treated for serious injuries.
