M5 leaving Belfast closed after six-vehicle collision

The M5 leaving Belfast is closed following a six-vehicle collision, the Department of Infrastructure says.

The motorway is closed northbound between Greencastle and the Rushpark Roundabout.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has said northbound traffic is being diverted at the Fortwilliam Junction.

Emergency services are in attendance and police have advised drivers to avoid the area.

The M2 northbound remains open.
