Loggerheads Country Park attractions closed after flooding

“It was probably at least three-and-a-half foot in depth inside the buildings, but it’s hard to tell,” she added.

Ms Jones, a team leader and senior ranger, said it was lucky that no artwork was on display in the gallery at the time.

“The main issue is the length of time it takes to do repairs and let the building dry out,” she added.

“It’s probably going to be another couple of months before those buildings can reopen.”

The park is in the process of having flood repair work carried out, which the park team hopes can minimise the damage caused by flooding.

It is hoped this work can be finished by the end of the month.
