Loganair’s Isle of Man to Belfast route to return in December

Loganair has confirmed it will run a limited number of return flights between the Isle of Man and Belfast over the festive season, after offering the same kind of service last year.

Three return services, with 72 seats per journey, have been scheduled for 20 and 27 December and 3 January 2026.

The operator picked up the route after EasyJet decided to stop its services between the destinations.

Loganair said the flights would “provide vital connectivity at one of the busiest travel times of the year”.

Chief commercial director Luke Lovegrove said: “We know how important this connection is at this time of year.”

Reinstating the flights over Christmas would “help ensure passengers can travel home or welcome loved ones during the festive period”, he said.

Interim director of Isle of Man Airport, Geoff Pugh, said: “We fully recognise the ongoing demand for year-round connectivity and are actively engaging with airlines on this.

“Establishing these flights for Christmas 2025 will make a real difference to the community, helping friends and family reconnect at such a special time of year.”

The Isle of Man Steam Packet will also operate two return ferry sailings between the island and Belfast on 21 and 28 December.
