Hearts have agreed a deal to sign Forest Green Rovers captain Laurent Mendy.
The midfielder has been on the Tynecastle side’s wanted list for the past two transfer windows, with the club having had a bid turned down in January.
However, a deal has now finally been struck for the 29-year-old French-born player, who is set to become Hearts’ 10th summer signing.
Mendy joined Forest Green in 2025 from Macclesfield and played 47 games last season for the English National League side.
Talks regarding personal terms are now under way as Hearts prepare for the first leg of their Champions League second-round qualifier against Sturm Graz on Tuesday (19:30 BST).
