Lamar Jackson leads Baltimore Ravens to comeback win over Cincinnati Bengals

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took control late on as his team fought back from a 14-point deficit to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 35-34 in Maryland.

The Ravens trailed 21-7 in the third quarter, but Jackson threw three touchdown passes in the fourth to lead them to victory – including a game-winning five-yard pass to wide receiver Rashod Bateman with just under two minutes remaining.

Jackson, the NFL’s reigning Most Valuable Player, struggled in the first half as the Bengals limited him to just 71 yards and one touchdown.

But the 27-year-old found his rhythm after the half-time break, adding 219 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bengals had a chance to win the game in the final moments after receiver Ja’Marr Chase reduced the deficit to one-point with a five-yard touchdown.

But quarterback Joe Burrow failed to find Tanner Hudson with his pass on a two-point conversion with 38 seconds left, allowing the Ravens to see out the game.

The Ravens’ 28 second-half points were the most scored by any team after the half-time break so far this season. They move to a 7-3 record while the Bengals are now 4-6.
