Hull FC have signed forward Joshua Coric from Wynnum Manly Seagulls on a two-year deal from the start of the 2027 Super League season.

Coric, 24, has spent the last two years in Australia’s second-tier Queensland Cup, but he made his NRL debut for Brisbane Broncos in July as a substitute against Cronulla Sharks.

“Josh is a player we have been watching closely and we believe he has all the attributes to be a very good Super League player,” said Hull FC chief executive Richie Myler.

The second-row forward is the Black and Whites’ sixth signing for next year under new head coach Steve McNamara, a list which includes Australia World Cup winner and State of Origin star Daly Cherry-Evans.

With two matches of this season remaining, Hull are 11th in Super League after a poor campaign.
