Flintshire: Girl, 14, airlifted to hospital after Holywell crash

A 14-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a car just before 08:00 GMT on Wednesday.

North Wales Police said they are looking for a red-coloured Honda Civic which was involved in the collision on Ffordd Holway, in Holywell, Flintshire.

The road will remain closed while an investigation is carried out.

Sergeant Medwyn Williams urged people who travelled along Holway Road before 08:00 to check dashcam footage and get in contact.
