Eoghan O’Connell: Barnsley sign former Wrexham defender

Barnsley have signed former Wrexham defender Eoghan O’Connell on a deal until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old was a free agent after being released by the Red Dragons in September, having helped them win three successive promotions to the Championship.

He could make his debut for the League One side in Monday’s FA Cup third round trip to Liverpool.
