Doris’s Barry house bought by fans

The new owners of a home used in hit comedy Gavin and Stacey say it’s “still sinking in” as they prepare to share their home with fellow fans.

Lisa Molloy, 42, and her husband Chris jumped at the chance to own the property on Trinity Street in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, inhabited on the show by Doris and later in the series by Gavin and Stacey themselves.

They have also purchased many pieces of furniture used in the show, so others can enjoy when they let it out as a holiday rental.

“We’re in awe of it,” said Lisa.
