Singer Bronwen Lewis says she always knew there was “something extra” that she loved about Dolly Parton.
After hearing about the country music star’s Welsh roots, Bronwen – who hosts a country show on BBC Radio Wales – has spotted some influences in her music.
“They’re very similar to folk and Celtic music, not just country. I feel like it would make sense that she has heritage here,” she said.
“I have been inspired by Dolly Parton my whole life. I always say there are two main women in my life, my mother and Dolly Parton.”
