County Antrim: Woman, 70, dies after being struck by car

A woman in her 70s has died after being hit by a car in Glengormley, County Antrim.

Police said the incident happened on the Antrim Road on Monday.

The woman, who was a pedestrian, was struck by the car shortly after 17:00 GMT.

The road has reopened and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
