Cameron Winnett: Wales full-back signs new Cardiff contract

Wales full-back Cameron Winnett has signed what Cardiff say is a “long-term” contract to remain at the Arms Park.

The duration of the 21-year-old’s deal has not been revealed, with Cardiff saying it is a fresh contract after he also signed a deal in January 2024.

Treorchy-product Winnett rose to regional and Wales honours via the Cardiff age-grade pathway, making his senior debut in 2021 and going on to establish himself as the region’s leading number 15 in 2023-24.

“I absolutely love playing at the Arms Park and really enjoy being part of a very good group of players, who are building and developing together,” said Winnett.

“I just want to keep improving, and as a group to keep building on what we have been doing in the last two years, to make some big memories in a blue and black jersey.”
