Several roads in Aberdeen have been closed, and properties evacuated, after firefighters were called out to tackle a serious blaze.
Emergency services were called to the fire at a garage premises on Merkland Road East at about 08:00.
A plume of dark smoke could be seen across the Aberdeen skyline.
Police Scotland said it had closed Merkland Road East, Ardarroch Road and Pittodrie Street as a result.
